Product Description

The Riptide FGC-9 MKII Enhanced Bolt features a bufferless recoil system, along with an integrated extractor and ejector. It is a direct replacement for the original FGC-9 MKII bolt—simply remove the original bolt and extractor, insert the Enhanced Bolt, and reassemble as normal*. If you want to eliminate the slop that is commonly found in the FGC-9 charging handle, grab the Anti-Slop Spring and print the Anti-Slop Bushing which can be found in the link below.

Additionally, this bolt works with DB Firearms' Triton-9, which was engineered around the FGC-9 MKII platform and optimized specifically for the Riptide FGC-9 MKII Enhanced Bolt.

If you are using the original FGC-9 MKII buffer tube, you will need to either modify it or print the updated version located here. If you are using a Riptide Buffer Tube Adapter, you will not need to modify anything as long as your adapter has the two clearance pockets for the ejector rod. Earlier Riptide Buffer Tube Adapters do not have this feature. Failure to provide clearance for the ejector rod may result in a broken ejector rod pin. The depth of the clearance pocket should be at least 0.1575" (4mm), but not more than 0.1772" (4.5mm) to maintain the proper ejection pattern and have a diameter of at least 0.375" (10mm) to allow clearance for the ejector rod and pin.
Here is a Picatinny endplate that is compatible with the Riptide Enhanced Bolt (this file is also included in the bolt files mentioned below): FGC-9 MKII Bufferless Picatinny Endcap
To insert the bolt into the upper, you will likely have to reach into the ejection port and depress the hammer to allow the bolt to pass it.
Ensure the charging handle is forward before installing the bolt, and make sure the charging handle goes inside the brass sleeve bearing.
The FGC-9 MKII Enhanced Bolt is NOT compatible with Glock or RP9 barrels.
The Buffer Pad is 3D Printed in TPU and is a consumable item. We print ours out of Polymaker PolyFlex™ TPU95-HF. The files to print your own replacement are located here. If you can not print TPU, you can order a replacement here.
DO NOT fire the bolt with the Stroke Limiter removed otherwise damage to the recoil system may occur.
The Riptide FGC-9 MKII Enhanced Bolt is available in both Right-Hand and Left-Hand configurations. The FGC-9 MKII does not currently have a left-hand upper available, however, you should be able to mirror the upper and handguard in your slicer.
Every bolt is test-fired with 115gr FMJ 9mm ammo to confirm function.
